Board Track Seat Post - SOLD OUT
We should have more in stock in a few weeks!
Our custom board track seat post adds substantial styling to the profile of the seat and post. Tucking the seat down and moving it back over the rear tire, while making the seat post nearly invisible. It performs a similar function as the “layback” seat posts offered but in a much sleeker design. These are commonly referred to as a laid back seat post and work similar to that. Our main goal is to bring the look of the bike inline with the styling of a vintage racer or board tracker. All posts are made with 7/8″ taper for most modern seat clamps.
Here’s a pic of the seat post installed on a motorized bike:

These posts are made from steal and come raw. The 1″ size is manufactured and the odd vintage sizes (7/8″ and 13/16″) are made by hand. If you’re not sure what size you need this list made by Sheldon Brown may help: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/seatpost-sizes.html

Hey I need this seatpost! But my question is that I have a standard 1″ tube into the bike but it narrows to 7/8 where the seat is. Is this how it comes or can you make one? Thanks!

Yes, the seat posts can be made in other sizes as well. 1″ into 7/8″ is the most common.

How did you get the seat clamp to fit below the top tube? did you bend it around?

The picture above shows a custom modification to the seat post tube. The seatpost tube was cut off and I cut a slit in the tube below the rear stay and then welded the seat clamp back on below the top tube. The clamp was steel so I could bend it and then refit it below the tube. However, these seat posts will fit on a standard setup with no modifications. I just wanted to show it at it’s full potential. Very sleak and low-profile.

I wish I had known about your bicycles before I started my project. I could have saved a good bit of money. I’ve had so much trial and error that I’m sure of spent more than just buying one of your bicycles. I decided to try the reverse bar levers but I’ve ran into a problem. I didn’t realize that the cables aren’t internal so I now have to drill a hole through the handlebar, the problem being that now the throttle has to be about an inch from the lever to give enough room for the cable to go into the bars. How did you get around that. It looks like you are using the same levers I have. On a side note, I was gonna buy the levers from this site but you took them down. Depending on how much i make next pay check i might be able to get the seat post but I already cut the seatpost tube down so now i need to find a seat clamp that goes below the top tube.

How long is the down tube? Does it have to be all the way down like the picture shows? Can you use it on a 3 wheeler to set the seat back?
Thanks,Tom

The seat post can be raised up. It works just like a normal seat post. I have no clue if it will work on your 3 wheeler.
